Can I filter my observations by time period, TEC waste type, project, or my location on the map?
Yes! Users can filter observations on the map and list, and when they are downloading reports or data. There are four filter options above the map:
- Time Period – Choose from the past week (default), month, six months, or all.
- Type of TEC Waste – Choose butts, other tobacco products, e-cigarettes, cannabis, multipurpose, or unsure. The default setting is All types.
- Project – Choose a project to which you want to contribute. The default setting is None.
- Map Filter On/Off – Controls what appears in the observation list and downloads.
- If on, the list, reports, and data files show only what is visible on the map.
- If off, all submitted observations are included in the list and downloaded reports and data files.
Note: “TEC Waste” refers to the non-biodegradable and toxic waste generated by smoked, heated, and smokeless tobacco (T), electronic smoking/vaping devices (E), and cannabis (C) products.
