Can I upload an image of TEC waste from my photos on my device?

If cellular data or WiFi is unavailable, users can upload a TEC waste image from their photo library on their mobile device. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Explore screen, then tap the Observations icon ().
  2. Choose Use Photo from Library and select the image on your device.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to classify and count the waste in the photo.
  4. Tap Submit to upload the observation.

Note: “TEC Waste” refers to the non-biodegradable and toxic waste generated by smoked, heated, and smokeless tobacco (T), electronic smoking/vaping devices (E), and cannabis (C) products.
