Can I upload an image of TEC waste from my photo library on my device?
Yes! If cellular data or WiFi is unavailable, users can upload a TEC waste image from their photo library on their mobile device. Follow these steps:
- Go to the Explore screen, then tap the Observations icon (
). - Choose Use Photo from Library and select the image on your device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to classify and count the waste in the photo.
- Tap Submit to upload the observation.
Note: “TEC Waste” refers to the non-biodegradable and toxic waste generated by smoked, heated, and smokeless tobacco (T), electronic smoking/vaping devices (E), and cannabis (C) products.
