Where can I view the observations I’ve submitted?
Users can view observations in four ways: (1) on the map, (2) in the lists below the map, (3) in a PDF report, and (4) in a CSV file, with more details on each option provided below.
- On the Map in the iKickButts app:
- Open the Explore screen (bottom left).
- Zoom and navigate the map using two fingers.
- Your observations appear at their recorded locations as shapes that correspond to the type of waste observed.
- In the Lists in the iKickButts app:
- Below the map, observations are listed chronologically, with the most recent at the top.
- In a text report with a map and table in PDF format:
- Tap Download (top of the map on the Explore screen).
- Select Report in PDF format to generate a summary of your observations based on your selected filters above the map.
- Download, share, or send via email/social media.
- In a data file in CSV format:
- Tap Download (top of the map on the Explore screen).
- Select Data in CSV format to export and view observations, including geolocation, tags, date, and time.
- Download, share, or send via email/social media.
Users can determine which observations should be displayed on the map, list, PDF report, and CSV data file. This is done by filtering observations by user (‘you’ or ‘all’), time (past week, past month, past six months, all), type of TEC Waste, projects, and location (area displayed on the map). To apply these filters, go to the Explore screen and tap on the filter icons. As soon as you set these filters, your choices will be reflected on the map, in the list, in the PDF report, and in the CSV data file.
